CIMB’s centennial ‘Kita Bagi Jadi’ Concert to celebrate unity, resilience

CIMB Group Holding Bhd will mark its 100th anniversary with a grand celebration, the ‘Kita Bagi Jadi’ Concert, at the Plenary Hall of Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on Nov 24.
 
This commemorative event, promises a unique blend of music and visual storytelling, capturing the resilience and unity of Malaysians. It stands as a testament to CIMB’s ‘Kita Bagi Jadi’ social movement, which promotes positivity and financial inclusivity nationwide.
 
The evening will feature a lineup of renowned Malaysian artists, including Datuk Zainal Abidin, Aina Abdul, Dayang Nurfaizah, Hael Husaini, Jaclyn Victor and Scha Nuril, the recipient of CIMB’s ASEAN Rising Star Award.
 
Together, these performers will deliver a powerful 100-minute concert experience, celebrating CIMB’s century-long commitment to the community and reflecting the values of empowerment and inclusivity.
 
Supporting the artists, 54 musicians from the Malaysian Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (MPYO) will perform under the direction of conductor Ahmad Muriz Che Rose.
 
Since its inception, MPYO has been instrumental in nurturing young musical talent and advancing classical music appreciation in Malaysia.
 
The orchestra’s performance is expected to add depth to the concert, aligning with CIMB’s vision of unity and artistic excellence.
 
CIMB Group group chief brand and marketing Toni Darusman expressed his enthusiasm for the event: “This is 100 years of CIMB, with 100 performances in 100 minutes. We’re not merely putting on a concert but creating unforgettable experiences that resonate with our purpose.

With over 2,000 guests expected, CIMB’s ‘Kita Bagi Jadi’ Concert is set to be a highlight of the year, reinforcing the bank’s commitment to driving positive social impact and nurturing a sense of unity among Malaysians.
