Dayang secures pan-Malaysia maintenance contract from Shell

Dayang Enterprise Holdings Bhd has been awarded a contract for pan-Malaysia maintenance, construction, modification (MCM), and hook-up commissioning (HUC) services by Sarawak Shell Bhd/Sabah Shell Petroleum Co (SSB/SSPC).

The value of the contract under Package 4 will be based on work orders issued over the duration of the contract, running five years primary plus three and two years extension option (5+3+2), effective Oct 14, 2024, it said in an exchange filing today.

The project will be carried out by its wholly-owned subsidiary Dayang Enterprise Sdn Bhd (DESB).

Dayang is involved in provisioning of maintenance services, fabrication operations, hook-up and commissioning and charter of marine vessels.

At the close of trading, its share price rose by 3 sen or 1.38% to RM2.21, bringing the company’s market capitalisation to RM2.56 billion. – TMR
