Amiruddin Abdul Satar concludes four-year tenure as Felda DG

THE Federal Land Development Authority (Felda) announced that Datuk Amiruddin Abdul Satar (picture) has concluded his tenure as Director-General on October 14, 2024, after four years at the helm.

In a statement today, Felda highlighted Amiruddin’s leadership, characterised by a strong commitment to navigating challenges, particularly during the post-COVID-19 recovery phase.

During his time in office, Amiruddin spearheaded significant initiatives, including the White Paper: Towards the Sustainability of Felda, which introduced a New Felda Model aimed at strengthening the organisation while providing direct benefits to settlers and the broader community.

Felda noted that he also played a vital role in restoring its financial stability through effective management strategies.

“His firm approach to cost control and operational efficiency has restored Felda to a stable footing. He also emphasised the importance of developing a holistic ecosystem that incorporates operational efficiency and resource management, ensuring sustainable and resilient long-term growth for Felda,” the statement said.

As Felda prepares for its next chapter, the organisation aims to build on the solid foundations established during Amiruddin’s tenure. — TMR
