MALAYSIA Digital Economy Corp’s (MDEC) sharing economy partner, Parcel365, is teaming up with AliExpress in introducing AliX365, the latest platform tailored to streamline small and medium enterprises’ (SMEs) sourcing and procurement processes.
The platform aims to connect SMEs to a vast network of trusted sellers on AliExpress and simplify procurement, as well as ensure competitive pricing.
It is also set to create accessible opportunities that empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to embark on their entrepreneurial ventures, with essential tools, training and support that will help aspiring entrepreneurs overcome barriers and thrive in the digital economy
It is designed to empower Malaysian SMEs by providing a one-stop platform that simplifies sourcing while also streamlining logistics and flexible financing options.
Moreover, it is also enhancing the online presence of businesses with artificial intelligence (AI) tools for basic search engine optimisation (SEO) and content creation.
AliX365 CEO Eddie Mok Yew Keong said this comprehensive approach alleviates procurement challenges and helps local businesses focus on what they do best.
Apart from empowering entrepreneurs, AliX365 is open to collaborate with cooperatives, government agencies and welfare societies to develop customised business packages tailored for underprivileged and low-income groups.
Through partnerships, it hopes to provide essential tools, training and support that will help aspiring entrepreneurs overcome barriers and thrive in the digital economy.
The AliX365 e-sourcing solution will see the application of AI technology and AI digital marketing in e-commerce powered by Ramssol Group Bhd, an IT and marketing solution provider.
Meanwhile, MDEC Digital Transformation Division head Datuk Fadzli Abdul Wahit said the cooperation between Parcel365 and AliExpress symbolises the trust and confidence that local SMEs have in going digital.
“By fostering innovation and digital adoption through initiatives like AliX365, it is helping Malaysian businesses become more competitive, resilient and ready to embrace new opportunities in the digital economy by empowering local businesses to embrace digital platforms and solutions.
“This is aligned with the Malaysia Digital (MD) national strategic initiative, and we believe it will bring more business opportunities to Malaysian SMEs and support the development of the local economy,” he said in a statement.
Additionally, the initiative highlights a group of collaborative partners, including Yokiswaran Nadeson from Koperasi FK Capital Bhd; Serunai Commerce CEO and founder Amnah Shaari; and Ramssol MD and CEO Datuk Seri Cllement Tan.
The partners would be supporting AliX365 in providing essential tools and services that further enhance the platform’s capabilities for SMEs, where they are committed to fostering a vibrant ecosystem that empowers Malaysian businesses to thrive in the digital economy.
