Press Metal Aluminium Holdings Bhd was the top of the list for net buying by local institutions for the week ended Sept 6.

It was trailed by Sime Darby Bhd, MISC Bhd and IJM Corp Bhd, according to a fund tracker by MIDF Research.

However, on the whole, local institutions net sold for the fourth consecutive week, totalling RM960.5 million, whereas foreign investors and local retailers were net buyers.

Topping the list for net bought by foreign investors were Tenaga Nasional Bhd (TNB), Public Bank Bhd, Malayan Banking Bhd (Maybank) and IHH Healthcare Bhd. – TMR
