MINETECH Resources Bhd has been awarded a RM36.79 million subcontract by Puncak Utara Sdn Bhd for upgrading the sewage system and related infrastructure in the Terengganu areas of Ketengah Jaya, Bukit Besi, and Seri Bandi.
The project, expected to be completed by June 23, 2027, is the company’s third contract win since July.
The previous two contracts, totaling RM20.15 million, involved road and drainage improvements in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
Minetech’s executive chairman Abang Abdillah Izzarim noted the group’s commitment to expanding its infrastructure portfolio and exploring new opportunities in Sarawak.
Shares in Minetech closed 3.7% higher at 14 sen on Tuesday, with a market capitalisation of RM240.97 million. — TMR
