Ge-Shen Corp Bhd’s net profit for the second quarter ended June 30, 2024 (2Q24) surged to RM4.47 million, doubling from RM2.19 million a year ago, driven by increased sales and cost optimisation.

Revenue rose 25% to RM75.13 million, marking the highest quarterly revenue in the company’s 20-year history.

For the first half of 2024, net profit soared to RM7.54 million, up from RM435,000 the previous year, with revenue increasing by 26% to RM148.98 million.

Ge-Shen remains cautiously optimistic for the second half of the year, focusing on expanding its production capacity and securing new clients in the electronics and medical devices sectors. –TMR
