Its chief executive officer (CEO) Datuk Captain Norazman Mahmud told Bernama when contacted that the airspace will be closed from 11 am to noon on Aug 26 to 28 for flight training, and from 8.45 am to 9.45 am on Aug 29 (for the full rehearsal) and Aug 31 (for the actual parade).
Drones are also banned from the airspace in the days leading up to and on the National Day due to aircraft in operation as well to avoid any untoward incidents, especially involving public safety and security,
“Enforcement activities will be conducted by CAAM and the Royal Malaysian Police Drone Unit to monitor any unauthorised drone operations,” he said.
