RESERVOIR Link Energy Bhd said it has completed more than 1.5 GW in solar projects since entering the renewable energy sector in 2021 through the acquisition of Founder Energy Sdn Bhd.
To date, Reservoir Link has delivered 1,513 MW in solar projects, with significant contributions in each financial year: 311 MW by December 2021, 924 MW by June 2023, and 278 MW by June 2024.
The company emphasises that this milestone underscores its commitment to renewable energy, as it expands its project pipeline and explores diverse energy solutions to broaden its revenue base.
“Our bold venture into the realm of solar energy has been incredibly gratifying, exceeding our initial expectations and becoming a key revenue contributor,” its executive deputy chairman Thien Chiet Chai said in a statement today.
He noted that delivering 1.5 GW in solar projects in a short period highlights the team’s dedication and expertise, solidifying its leadership in the expanding renewable energy sector.
“With the imminent listing of Founder Energy on the NASDAQ stock exchange this year, we are excited for the future as we continue to pave the way for a cleaner tomorrow, aligned with the increasing adoption of renewables and the shift towards sustainable energy,” he added. — TMR
