JOHOR Corporation Bhd (JCorp) has partnered with Kinergy Advancement Bhd (KAB) to boost sustainable energy solutions, particularly focusing on enhancing the efficiency of data centres.
The collaboration will see KAB, through its subsidiary KAB Energy Holdings Sdn Bhd (KABEH), develop customised energy-efficient projects, renewable energy (RE) initiatives, and clean energy (CE) solutions for JCorp’s facilities.
The collaboration aims to improve the power usage effectiveness (PUE) of data centres by implementing district cooling systems, reducing overall energy consumption.
KAB will showcase its engineering capabilities through the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) development of data centres and other energy-related facilities.
The partnership will also promote renewable energy exports through third-party access (TPA) programmes to help JCorp achieve its sustainability goals.
