UZMA Bhd, through its subsidiary Malaysian Energy Chemical & Services Sdn Bhd, has clinched a contract with Sarawak Shell Bhd and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited.

The contract, spanning a duration of five years from April 15, 2024, to April 14, 2029, entails the provision of integrated production and integrity chemical supply services tailored for shallow water applications.

Under the terms of the contract, Uzma will supply a comprehensive range of integrated production and integrity chemicals, accompanied by associated services, to meet the specific needs of Sarawak Shell Berhad and Sabah Shell Petroleum Company Limited.

This includes solutions designed to ensure the efficient and reliable operation of production facilities in shallow water environments.

The contract is expected to contribute positively towards the earnings and net assets per share of the Company for the financial year ending 30 June 2024 and onwards until the expiry of the Contract. — TMR
