PRIME Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim today condemned the attacks in Kerman, Iran, and urged that the mastermind of this violent action be brought to justice.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Anwar expressed grief for the bombing in the region which has claimed nearly a hundred innocent lives and has injured over 200 others.
“Malaysia protests and strongly condemns any form of violence against the innocent.
“It has been almost three months since the world witnessed Israel’s massacre of innocents in Palestine and the latest in Lebanon two days ago,” he said.
He added that Malaysia extends condolences to Iran and its citizens, while expressing its solidarity.
“We urge that the mastermind of this violent action be brought to justice.
“In this new year, Malaysia seeks to invite the world to protest against the cultures of violence and greed and save universal humanity,” Anwar added.
