PHARMANIAGA Bhd’s subsidiary, Pharmaniaga Logistic Sdn Bhd (PLSB), has entered into a seven-year concession agreement with the Ministry of Health (MOH) for medical supply logistics services.
The agreement, effective from July 1, 2023, grants PLSB rights to handle procurement, storage, supply, and delivery of medical products to public sector customers.
Additionally, PLSB can provide Pharmacy Information System services and construct or acquire four new warehouses for medical product storage.
The contract value remains confidential.
PLSB had a similar agreement since 1994, with extensions, and Pharmaniaga is currently a Practice Note 17 (PN17) company.
The company is majority-owned by delisted Boustead Holdings Bhd and has military fund Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera (LTAT) as a significant shareholder. – TMR
