AEON BiG Mid Valley reopens with new look, experiences

KUALA LUMPUR – AEON BiG (M) Sdn Bhd (AEON BiG) today announced the reopening of its store in Mid Valley Megamall here, offering the customers a whole new look and new shopping experiences.

AEON BiG managing director Sheikh Farouk Sheikh Mohamed said the refurbishment of the store, which was established in 1999, took six months starting from March this year.

He said the AEON BiG store in Mid Valley Megamall is the first AEON BiG outlet that offers a more premium look with the same great value to everyone.

“We plan to bring the same concept to East Coast Mall in Kuantan, Pahang before Chinese New Year next year and to other shopping malls as well.

“We also have self check-out counters involving 30 per cent of the entire payment counters,” he told reporters after the reopening ceremony here.

Also present were Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living’s (KPDN) Trade, Distribution and Business Sector senior director Datuk Rohaizi Bahari and Kuala Lumpur KPDN director Ariffin Samsudin.

Sheikh Farouk said that AEON BiG Mid Valley is offering up to 80 per cent discount on all of its items in conjunction with the ‘Orange Day’, which is happening for two days, starting today.

“It is a continuation of the Rahmah Sales. Our Rahmah Sales programme is more focused on commodity items, but for Orange Day, it’s open to all items at the AEON BiG Mid Valley store only, today and tomorrow,” he added.

AEON BiG Mid Valley is the 10th out of the 21 outlets in the country offering special promotions for customers on Orange Day. – BERNAMA
