Two MACC officers pleaded not guilty for robbing businessman

TWO Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers pleaded not guilty in the sessions court today to charges of robbing a Chinese businessman two years ago.

Free Malaysia Today reported Haffiz Radzi and Fahmee Nor are accused of committing gang robbery on Kun Gao on Dec 10, 2021 of RM952,690 and 1,225 yuan in cash, as well as a luggage bag and a Louis Vuitton bag at the businessman’s home in Jalan Ampang.

Judge Izralizam Sanusi set bail for both at RM12,000 with one surety.

He also ordered Haffiz and Fahmee to report at the police station nearest to their home every month until the disposal of the case.

The passports of both officers were also impounded by the court under the terms of their bail.

Both are also facing up to 20 years in prison with the possibility of canning if found guilty.

The court set Feb 5, 2024 as the next mention.

Deputy public prosecutor Izalina Abdullah appeared for the prosecution while lawyers S Ravinchandran and R Vikraman appeared for Haffiz and Fahmee. – TMR
