HAILY Group Bhd has secured a RM64 million construction contract from Meridin East Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Mah Sing Group Bhd.

The contract, among Haily’s largest to date and its fifth major project in the current year, involves the construction of 327 double-storey terrace houses and two Tenaga Nasional Bhd substations in Johor Bahru.

The houses and substations will be situated in Parcel 2G of the Meridin East township at Taman Bestari Perdana.

The contract, covering Parcel 2G1 and Parcel 2G2, is part of Mah Sing’s largest mixed township development.

Haily aims to leverage this momentum, having secured contracts totaling RM272.15 million this year, surpassing the previous year’s achievements.

The project is expected to be completed within 15 months from the respective commencement dates of Parcel 2G1 and Parcel 2G2. – TMR
