BURSA Malaysia Securities Bhd has introduced the Bursa Malaysia ESG Reporting Platform to serve as a repository for disclosures complying with the specified format outlined in Bursa Malaysia’s enhanced sustainability reporting requirements introduced on September 26, 2022.
The phased implementation of these requirements for listed issuers includes supporting user guides and illustrative toolkits, with the platform accessible via the Bursa LINK system at no extra cost.
Listed issuers can generate a performance table summarising indicators related to material sustainability matters for inclusion in their sustainability statements.
Bursa Malaysia aims to elevate ESG disclosures, acknowledging positive progress by issuers even before the mandatory periods.
The launch of the ESG Reporting Platform is accompanied by user guides and videos to assist issuers in navigating the platform’s functionalities, available to registered Bursa LINK users. – TMR
