KERJAYA Prospek Group Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPM), has secured a RM203.06 million contract from Samsung-KP JV, a consortium comprising KPM and Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn Bhd.

The contract, focused on concrete structural work encompassing substructure and superstructure elements, is designated for the construction of the TIEM2 Bump/Probe/AT factory situated within the Batu Berendam Free Trade Zone in Melaka.

This contract is an integral component of a broader construction initiative initially disclosed on October 26, 2022, when Texas Instruments Electronic Malaysia Sdn Bhd awarded a letter of award to the Samsung-KP JV consortium.

Set to commence on September 29, 2023, the contract is projected to conclude within a 12-month timeframe from the initiation date.

Importantly, the contract is expected to bolster the group’s earnings and enhance net assets per share for the fiscal years spanning 2023 to 2024. – TMR
