THETA Edge Bhd has announced that it has received a letter of acceptance from the Education Ministry for a contract worth RM47.4 million.

The contract involves the rental of eco-friendly laptops, and the laptops will be used by school teachers and educational institutions under the Education Ministry in Zone 1, Selangor.

It told the bourse today that the contract’s duration is 63 months, starting from September 15, 2023, and ending on December 14, 2028.

In a separate filing, Heitech Padu Bhd has also secured a contract with the Education Ministry.

The contract is valued at RM40.93 million and involves providing an environmentally friendly laptop rental service for teachers in schools and educational institutions in Kelantan and Terengganu.

Like the Theta Edge contract, this contract also has a duration of 63 months, covering the same time frame from September 15, 2023, to December 14, 2028. – TMR
