ECONPILE Holdings Bhd, a specialist in piling and foundation work, has successfully secured a piling contract worth RM43.8 million for a mixed high-rise development project in Cambodia.

The contract was awarded to Econpile’s wholly owned subsidiary, Global Piling Solutions Co Ltd, by Odom Living Co Ltd.

It involves undertaking bored piling and diaphragm wall works for the Odom Development located at Norodom Boulevard, Sangkat Tonle Bassac, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The project is expected to span 248 calendar days starting from June 1, 2023.

The Odom Development consists of two towers comprising 45-floor office spaces and 22-floor residential spaces, connected by a five-floor podium with commercial areas.

With this new contract, Econpile’s total new wins for the year amount to RM266.7 million, further strengthening its current orderbook, which now stands at approximately RM410 million.
