TANCO Holdings Bhd’s sub-subsidiary, Tanco Builders Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a RM43.37 million contract from China Communications Construction Sdn Bhd to undertake the construction and completion of subgrade works for the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) project.

Tanco said the contract, which it expects to contribute positively to its future earnings, will enable the group to expand and strengthen its construction segment.

Tanco shares gained half a sen or 1.11% to close at 45.5 sen today with a RM844 million market capitalisation. – TMR / pic credit: ANNUAL REPORT
