PERDANA Petroleum Bhd’s wholly-owned unit, Perdana Nautika Sdn Bhd, has been awarded a work order from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for the provision of an accommodation work barge (AWB).

In a stock exchange filing today, the group said the contract began on March 20, 2023, and will be for a duration of 229 days.

Perdana Nautika will  provide one AWB vessel with crew and equipment to perform a continuous service as per the scope of works agreed to assist Petronas Carigali’s project activities, it said.

Perdana Petroleum said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial year ending December 31, 2023.

Perdana Petroleum shares gained half a sen or 2.94% to 17.5 sn today, with a market capitalisation of RM388 million. – TMR / pic TMR File
