Its revenue for 4Q also slipped 10% to RM777.1m
BRITISH American Tobacco (M) Bhd (BAT) posted a lower net profit of RM 61.73 million for the fourth quarter ended December 2022 (4Q22), against RM71.45 million last year.
Meanwhile, its revenue for the quarter slipped 10% to RM777.06 million from RM 861.9 million in 4Q21.
The group also announced lower earnings per share of 21.60 sen against 25 sen previously.
For the 12 months period (FY22), the group declared a fourth interim dividend of 21 sen per share amounting to RM60 million payable on March 7 to shareholders.
For FY22, net profit fell to RM262.5 million from RM284.8 million in the previous year, while annual revenue eased to RM2.6 billion from RM2.64 billion in FY21.
