Anwar names his 5 man team of advisors

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has finally named his team of advisors, just slightly over two months after announcing his cabinet.

In a statement today, Anwar said the four members are FPSO Ventures Sdn Bhd (FVSB) executive chairman Ahmad Fuad Ali, Sarawak Energy Bhd chairman Amar Abdul Hamed Sapawi as well as economists Profesor Dr Yeah Kim Leng and Datuk Profesor Ulung Rajah Rasiah, both from University Sunway and University Malaya respectively.

The team of advisors who will assist the government on several matters especially on the country’s finances led by Petronas chairman, Tan Sri Mohd Hassan Marican, who was announced earlier.

Anwar reiterated that those appointed to the board will not receive any salary. –TMR
