MBSB Bank commits to high level of accountability, transparency


The bank has also implemented many proactive measures to institutionalise a culture of integrity

MBSB Bank Bhd affirms its dedication to upholding a high standard of accountability and transparency via the Corporate Integrity Pledge.

The signing ceremony of the pledge was held on Tuesday at Menara MBSB Bank at PJ Sentral and was officiated by Malaysian Integrity Institute’s CEO Datuk Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi.

MBSB Bank noted that it supports AntiCorruption Principles for Corporations in Malaysia and it upholds a zero-tolerance policy on corruption.

MBSB Bank group CEO Datuk Nor Azam M Taib said as an Islamic financial institution, the bank is aware that the responsibility is on them to uphold and cultivate good values including integrity.

“This ceremony is an initiative that demonstrates the determination and commitment of MBSB Bank employees in combating corruption and practises good governance in our daily work.

“We have also implemented many proactive measures to institutionalise a culture of integrity including transparency in business deals, strict compliance with legislation and regulations, and high ethical standards,” he said in a statement.
