MCE bags supply contract for Perodua new model

MCE Holdings Bhd’s wholly owned subsidiary, Multi-Code Electronics Industries (M) Bhd, has secured contracts to supply various electronic and mechatronics parts for Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd’s (Perodua) new car model.

It told the stock exchange filing today that the supply of the parts is expected to commence in the third quarter of the financial year ending July 31, 2024, for a duration of six years.

“The project is expected to generate a total revenue of approximately RM60.69 million for MCE Group over the six-year period, whilst the estimated total investment cost is RM5.45 million,” it said.

MCE shares are unchanged today at RM1.41, while its market capitalisation is at RM79 million. — TMR
