Every year, about 10,000 children receive treatment at the Sultanah Aminah Hospital, of which many come from as far as Mersing, Kota Tinggi and Kluang.
The Pediatric Clinic treats various illnesses but focuses on treating children with Thalassemia, especially with regards to their bi-monthly blood transfusion treatment.
“The corporate social responsibility initiative is therefore part of an effort by all parties involved to spread cheer among the warded children.
“We also want to show utmost appreciation to the doctors and nurses for their high commitment in caring for the sick children,” PTP said in a statement. — TMR
