AL-IKHSAN Sports will open 100 more stores across Malaysia within three years, said CEO Vach Pillutla.
He stated that as of Nov 8, Al-Ikhsan had opened 32 locations in Malaysia, with four others planned before the end of the year.
“Next year will be the biggest year for us as we celebrate our 30th anniversary of bringing affordable sports products to sports fans all over Malaysia.
“During the Covid-19 pandemic we opened 13 stores, so we are optimistic and believe this year’s target as well three-year plan is achievable,” he said at the Al-IKhsan Sports and Football Republic launch of the World Football Festival 2022 campaign at IOI Mall, Putrajaya yesterday.
Currently, the sports store has 167 outlets across Malaysia.
The World Football Festival 2022 campaign is in conjunction with the World Cup season that will take place in Doha, Qatar, and Media Prima Audio is Al-Ikhsan Sports’ radio partner throughout this football season.
Al-Ikhsan Sports is collaborating with renowned brand Adidas in hosting the “Adidas Official Match Ball Roadshow” at five major cities across Malaysia for the World Cup season
Al-Ikhsan Sports has administered an extended 14 locations regionally to meet football fans’ demand as a part of the ground activation initiative and will pop up in Melaka, Penang, Johor Baru and Negri Sembilan, among others.
“Our objective is to bring the football craze to Malaysia and provide a fun and unique experience for all customers at our outlets and roadshows.
“We also aim to make Al-Ikhsan Sports the premier destination for the football season through this campaign with our officially licensed ‘World Cup Exclusive 2022’ products,” Vach said.
