KERJAYA Prospek Group Bhd announced that a consortium comprising its wholly-owned subsidiary Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd (KPM), Samsung C&T Corp’s wholly-owned subsidiary Samsung C&T (KL) Sdn Bhd and South Korea’s construction and engineering company Samsung-KP JV have received a letter of award from Texas Instruments Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd for a contract works worth RM1.45 billion.
The contract is for the execution and completion of TIEM2 Bump/probe/AT factory construction at Batu Berendam Industrial Park in Melaka Free Trade Zone.
In a filing to the Bursa Malaysia, Kerjaya Prospek said the project shall commence on Nov 21, 2022, and to be completed within 28 months from the commencement date.
“KPM will fund the cost of the contract via internally generated funds.
“The contract is expected to provide an additional stream of revenue for the group over the next two to three years,” the filing stated.
