PERDANA Nautika Sdn Bhd, a subsidiary of Perdana Petroleum Bhd, announced it has received the contract extension from Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd for one unit of anchor handling tug and supply (AHTS) vessel valued at approximately RM15.5 million.

Perdana Nautika shall continue to provide the AHTS vessel with crews and equipment to perform 24-hour services for assisting and/or servicing drilling rigs, offshore installation, derrick barges, towing and anchor jobs.

The contract extension also involves an extension period from the original contract of “up to 30 days to up to 292 days”.

The contract extension commenced on July 11, 2022, and shall expire on April 29, 2023.

The extension is expected to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of Perdana Petroleum Group for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022.

The risks associated with the contract are normal operational risks, which can be mitigated through Perdana Petroleum Group’s system of project management and internal business controls.
