WATER and wastewater engineering firm Salcon Bhd has secured a proposed development of Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant and Water Reticulation System in Selangor and Kuala Lumpur (KL) in a 27-month contract worth RM209.95 million.

Its wholly owned subsidiary Salcon Engineering Bhd has accepted the letter of acceptance dated Sept 21 issued by Pengurusan Aset Air Bhd.

The project is scheduled to end in January 2025, the company said in an exchange filing yesterday.

It forms part of the proposed development of Langat 2 water treatment plant and water reticulation system in Selangor and KL.

“The award of the project is the testament of the solid confidence that PAAB as client has in Salcon’s strong track record and expertise in the local water industry,” said Salcon Engineering COO Jamiluddin Amini Sulaiman.
