KTB bags RM41m PR1MA Pahang’s infrastructure works

KONSORTIUM Transnasional Bhd (KTB), via its wholly owned subsidiary Transnational Builder Sdn Bhd, has received a letter of award from Living Stones Development Sdn Bhd worth RM41.01 million.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia last Friday, the company said the contract is for the earthwork, building, internal and major infrastructure works of a Perumahan Rakyat 1 Malaysia (PR1MA) Pahang project.

This includes a mixed development comprising 162 units of single storey semi-detached houses, 103 units of singe storey terrace houses, 11 units of double storey shophouses on an approximately 13.76ha government land at Mukim Penjom in Daerah Lipis, Pahang.

KTB noted that the whole of the works shall be completed within 24 months from the date of commencement.

“The date of commencement of the relevant works shall be from Dec 1, 2022,” it said.

According to KTB, the contract is expected to have a positive contribution to the earnings per share (EPS), net assets per share and gearing of KTB for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2023 and onwards.

Shares of KTB closed unchanged at 20 sen last Friday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM93.96 million.
