AWC to provide support services for 19 MoH’s clinics in Perak

The company will be providing the service for 5 years starting from next month

AWC Bhd through its subsidiary, Ambang Wira Sdn Bhd (AWSB), has received a letter of appointment (LoA) from the Health Ministry (MoH) on tender for clinic support services in 19 clinics in the Perak district.

With a fee of service amounting to RM62.23 million, the contract is valid for up to five years starting from Oct 1, 2022, to Sept 30, 2027.

“The contract is expected to contribute positively to the company income throughout the contract period. The potential risks involved in the contract are considered to be normal operational risks and are the same for all maintenance projects we undertake,” AWC said in a filing to Bursa yesterday.

AWC has previously received an LoA from MoH for AWSB to provide similar services and in the same period for the National Institute of Health valued at RM106.04 million in December 2021, Gombak Orang Asli Hospital valued at RM12.73 million in November 2021, as well as for Shah Alam Hospital valued at RM107.89 million in December 2020.
