A NEW lavender-infused cold brew coffee, a quintessential purple-themed menu and more are colouring The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® Malaysia (TCB) outlets purple in conjunction with its silver anniversary.

The retailer of specialty coffees and teas marks the introduction of a specially curated limited-time beverage as well as a celebrative menu of well-loved Malaysian flavours in desserts, dishes and treats.

All sporting a dash of its signature purple to commemorate 25 years of serving up authentic flavours of the world to the tabletop of Malaysians.

Marketing and Innovation head Fiona Rodrigues said this celebration goes out to all the good times shared together, whether it’s over a hot cuppa, a warm hearty meal or a shared slice of cake.

“With every year we spend together, we continue to make it our utmost priority to make every visit to The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf one that is reminiscent of coming home, just as much as Malaysians have given us a place to call home for the past 25 years.”

Especially crafted is the Lavender Cold Brew Latte. “A delicate and sophisticated ode to our home of 25 years, the Lavender Cold Brew Latte is a purple-inspired flavour infusion of soothing lavender and uplifting cold brew coffee,” she said.

Then, there are the special menu items that marry classic Malaysian flavours with…you guess it, the colour purple.

Among them is the delectable Twilight Berry cake. Sweet summer blueberries and zesty lemon mousse create a twilight waltz of flavours on a dark charcoal sponge and cream cracker base.

And the taro-ly enjoyable Murasaki Blondie. Nutty earthy flavours of taro marry sweet white chocolate brownie to be eaten chilled or warm. As well as the Coco Yam Tart and the savoury Asam Beef Pandesal.

The retailer also has a set of 25th Anniversary merchandise in the form of mugs and tumblers. A limited edition of the TCB Card — yes, in eye-catching purple — will also be up for grabs.
