More cases awaiting Najib

FORMER Prime Minister (PM) Datuk Seri Mohd Najib Razak has been sent to jail to begin serving a 12-year sentence, after the top court rejected his appeal.

The 69-year-old’s charges relate to a corruption scandal involving 1Malaysia Development Bhd (1MDB).

The former PM now faces four more major cases and dozens of charges of criminal breach of trust (CBT), graft, abuse of power and money laundering. — by TMR
