HUAWEI Technologies (M) Sdn Bhd has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Fabulous Sunview Sdn Bhd to help the country meet the target of net zero carbon emissions by 2050.
Huawei Malaysia VP Chong Chern Peng said this partnership is not only environmentally beneficial but it also proves that green technology will drive Malaysia’s social economy in future.
“Huawei’s digital power aims to ensure the best practice in using our new technologies to transition the energy industry in Malaysia into an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly and low carbon one.
“At Huawei, we strive to use clean and renewable energy that boosts low carbon emission,” he said during the MoU signing ceremony today.
Fabulous Sunview has chosen Huawei Malaysia to embark on this journey together where they will combine each other’s expertise, strength, experience and value.
Together, they will be able to develop projects that utilise their clean energy on a wider scale and to support the environment by boosting the solar market.
Fabulous Sunview CEO Ong Hang Ping was confident of achieving the net zero carbon emissions target.
“I am really amazed at Huawei’s technologies and will try to learn something from the company, especially from its service and culture,” he said.
