THE Finance Ministry (MoF) is inviting the public as well as stakeholders to propose suggestions to improve its upcoming Targeted Subsidy Programme.

The ministry will use the feedback obtained through this survey to craft the programme and ensure that it fully benefits the target group.

It said this public survey is also a new approach under the Public Consultation Papers (PCP) series to address more transparency and inclusivity in the annual budget preparation process.

“The government is confident that the PCP will provide more opportunities for all stakeholders to provide feedback.

“This approach will also facilitate the government to draft an annual budget that meets the needs of the people, as well as in line with the country’s socioeconomic development policy,” it said in a statement today.

The survey is open until Aug 30, 2022, and downloadable through budget.mof.gov.my/bajet2023/kertaskonsultasi/.
