Avis donates RM15,000 to welfare home

The donation in the form of various essentials is part of the firm’s CSR programme

AVIS Malaysia donated RM15,000 worth of various essentials varying from food items, hygiene products and mattresses to Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ephratha Rawang for their corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

The charity organisation, established in 2005, houses orphans and children from low-income families aged five to 18 years old.

Avis CEO Mohammad Syahrul Yusuf said the company recognises the need to play a vital role in actively engaging and supporting the community, especially children in need.

“We hope that the time spent together was uplifting, the goods supplied were of assistance in providing some measure of comfort and improvement to the welfare of the children,” he said in a statement.

The programme witnessed the children being entertain with the presence of a clown, exciting activities like balloon sculpting, magic show, fun games and lunch.
