METRONIC Global Bhd expects RM100 million in gross merchandise turnover from its wholly owned subsidiary, Metronic Integrated System Sdn Bhd (MISSB).
According to the company, MISSB provides end-to-end engineering and maintenance solutions in the facilities management industry such as Intelligent Building Management System, Building Management System, Energy Management System and Security and ICT Systems.
Metronic Global believes this software enables MISSB to diversify into new business channels in new digital industrial technology and create synergies with its core business. Given the continued digitalisation business in Malaysia, the software is expected to contribute positively to the future earnings of the group.
“The group has invested millions of ringgit in developing the Services Mobile Apps, Logistic/Supply Chain Management Platform and e-Commerce Platform to enhance the operation and also ventured into new businesses,” Metronic Global said in a statement today.
“The group has recently launched the Services Mobile Apps and e-Commerce platform and the platform has focus on trading of construction engineering equipment and parts, security systems, smart home products, digitalise products for building management sector and digital technology industry.
“Besides that, the group also continuously promotes the building management services which are able to provide contractual comprehensive maintenance services or any other services for the building systems,” it added.
The dedicated e-Commerce Sales team has started to launch and market the platform to potential merchants (suppliers and vendors) and is looking forward to securing more merchant onboarding agreements. — TMR/TMRgraphic
