New DoubleTree by Hilton opens in i-City Shah Alam

THE newly opened DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City, a 300-room contemporary hotel is located in mixed development in Selangor’s Golden Triangle.

It is surrounded by the Shah Alam’s i-City Convention Centre, the city’s leading meetings hub as well as other main attractions such as the Central-i-City mall, a theme park consisting of SnoWalk and Waterworld@i-City.

Well connected to major highways such as the Federal Highway, New Klang Valley Expressway and West Coast Expressway, it is 40 minutes away by car from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 25 minutes from the Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport.

It is also a few minutes’ drive to the Blue Mosque and Garden of Islamic Arts and the Sultan Alam Shah Museum.

Hilton VP and head of South-East Asia (SEA) Alexandra Murray said the opening of the hotel signals the brand’s robust growth momentum and underscores its commitment to growing its presence across Malaysia and SEA.

A variety of dining options are available at DoubleTree by Hilton Shah Alam i-City, including comfortable regional specialties at Makan Kitchen, homey Italian fare at Tosca, a soothing afternoon tea and carefully crafted drinks at Axis Lounge.

The Koffee, a casual deli and lounge on the ground level, is the ideal location to get a drink and a quick snack, fresh pastries and cakes.
