EDARAN Modenas Sdn Bhd has reintroduced the Kawasaki Motors Ltd’s models into the Malaysian market following the launch of Modenas Ninja 250 (picture), Modenas Ninja 250 ABS and Modenas Z 250 ABS.

These models from the sports bike and naked bike segments are priced at RM18,900 for the Modenas Ninja 250; RM20,500 for Modenas Ninja 250 ABS; and RM19,500 for Modenas Z250 ABS.

The Modenas Ninja 250 is available in Metallic Carbon Grey and Metallic Matte Graphite while the Modenas Ninja 250 ABS and Modenas Z250 ABS models only come in Metallic Matte Graphite Grey and the Metallic Spark Black, respectively.

Modenas CEO Roslan Roskan said like Kawasaki, Modenas also prioritises its customers so they have access to affordable, quality and technology-driven products.

“With the endless online meetings, 2020 was an important year for Modenas and Kawasaki.

“We saw a number of important contracts signing collaborations and today, we are about to invest in yet another milestone,” he said at the launch today.

He added that the demand for both Modenas and Kawasaki products have been very high and he expected the market to continue growing over the next few years.

In preparation for this new project, there is a dedicated assembly line for these new models at Modenas’ plant in Gurun, Kedah, which has been tested and certified by Kawasaki’s team.

Modenas’ local talents are also trained by Kawasaki themselves.

“Modenas is continuously observing, learning and adapting the business operations of Kawasaki.

“Together with the representatives from Kawasaki, we are all set for greater business expansions,” Roslan concluded.
