DK-MY Properties Sdn Bhd is set to launch seven commercial and residential projects in Klang Valley with RM4.5 billion in gross development value.

The property developer will be kick-starting these projects with the launch of The Suite, a visionary development designed to redefine the home-office experience, which is the first project to be launched this year.

The project focuses on reimagining co-working and co-living spaces through the use of smart-home technologies. It is supported by SAMA+, Malaysia’s first exclusive contactless 5-star bespoke provider with a variety of smart-living features.

The company also will launch a 1.06-acre (0.43ha) freehold commercial project in Bandar Sri Damansara with 492 co-living and co-working suites.

The concept of affordable-luxurious homes, with en-suite studios up to two bedrooms, fully-utilised space and upscale interiors and amenities, creates a hotel-like experience for millennials and young couples looking for their first home.

DK-MY Properties MD Danny Koek said the company saw strong signs of recovery in the real estate industry in the first half of 2022, with more Malaysians turning to the housing market for investment and homeownership.

“We are firm in addressing the needs and demands of customers that are evolving with the changing times while adding value to their lifestyle through cutting-edge developments.

“We believe that our project pipeline encompassing residential and commercial segments will deliver great value to homeowners and investors and ensure a sustainable development where communities can thrive,” he said in a statement yesterday.

DK-MY Properties aims to launch mixed-use developments SSTwo Mall (urban wellness living concept mall) to further strengthen their aims for Malaysia’s lifestyle.

Other projects are the D’Twist (a technology-driven mall with the deepest indoor diving pool in the world) and residential development at Puchong Intan.

Koek added that the company is committed to preserving the environment in their project developments, in addition to improving customers’ lifestyles and living experiences.

“One of the projects that amplify its efforts is an ultra-low-density residential project in Cheras Hill that sits on 28 acres of forest at Ketumbar Hill.

“The project is an effort to protect its reputation as the go-to hiking hotspot, ensuring the sustainability of nature is well maintained at the same time promoting work-life balance where residents can enjoy a pleasant loop trail and forest view,” he added.
