BANK Islam Malaysia Bhd awarded two Proton X50 cars to the winners of its “Nak Cuti Le Tuu…” campaign which was held between Jan 8 to April 7 this year.
The objective of the campaign was to promote a cashless culture among Bank Islam’s customers by using the services offered in the “GO by Bank Islam” app and Bank Islam’s Internet banking platform which offers DuitNow, JomPAY and FPX services.
At the same time, they are able to complete their Tabung Haji transactions, check their balance inquiries, transaction history, linking of Tabung Haji account with Bank Islam Debit Card-i, fund transfer between Tabung Haji and Bank Islam accounts, and haj registration through both Bank Islam’s digital channels.
Grand prize winner Rozanna Purwanti Abdul Wahab did not expect to win as the online banking services have always been her preference when completing her bank transactions as they are faster and more accessible.
Moreover, another winner Muhammad Shahrul Hafiz uses Bank Islam app as he wants to perform haj one day.
“I often use the app to do transactions, especially in transferring funds into my Tabung Haji account as I plan to go for my haj one day. The online service eases my banking affairs immensely,” he said.
The prizes were presented to the winners by Bank Islam group COO Mohammed Iran Moriff Mohd Shariff and Bank Islam eChannels director Romina Talib.
The prize-giving ceremony was held at the Proton Subang Jaya Exhibition Centre, Subang Jaya, on June 20.
