THE second edition of the Selangor Aviation Show (SAS2022) will take place from Sept 8 to 10, 2022, at the Skypark Regional Aviation Centre in Subang, Selangor.
Organised by Invest Selangor Bhd’s aerospace division Selangor Darul Ehsan Aerospace Industry Coordination Office, SAS2022 has a target of RM700 million in potential transaction value and 8,000 visitors with at least 70 booths from local and international companies.
There will also be around 30 static displays of aircraft, helicopters and luxury private jets.
Invest Selangor CEO Datuk Hasan Azhari said there will also be business networking sessions, product presentations, seminars, as well as training and career path sessions for aviation tertiary students.
“Networking receptions are also planned to maximise the exhibitor’s participation which also include a session with potential business aviation clientele or charter flight passengers,” he said at the SAS2022 official launch yesterday.
Also present was Industry and Trade Exco Datuk Teng Chang Khim who said the show will offer a regional perspective of the industry.
“This year, SAS2022 confirms the participation from Sapura Aero Sdn Bhd, Destini Avia Technique Sdn Bhd, Epic Aero Sdn Bhd, DJI Academy, Superb Access, BCS Aviation, Bibus Metals Sdn Bhd, Sirim Bhd and International Aero Training Academy.
“We are talking to more original equipment manufacturers, such as assault aviation with the Falcon business jet, among others,” he said.
With a RM5 million budget, SAS2022 will also see participation from associations to educate visitors on their areas of expertise.
The first and second days will be specifically for industry players while the last day is open to the public. Entry is free but visitors are required to register at www.selangoraviationshow.com.
