THE National Higher Education Fund Corp (PTPTN) celebrated the winners of its “Gong Xi Ang Pow 2022” and “myPTPTN Klik-Klik Je” campaigns in conjunction with its “Mesra Bersama Pelanggan” event yesterday.

The first, from Jan 15 to Feb 15, 2022, themed “Gong Xi Simpan, Kongsi Ong! Hari-Hari Mesti Mau Simpan Tau!” was held to encourage all Malaysians to celebrate the Chinese New Year season.

Eight winners from each state won prizes totalling almost RM100,000. The grand prize was a TV Smart 4K 50″, while the second-place prize was a high-pressure cooker and a folding bicycle for the third place.

Five individuals received angpows worth RM388 as consolation prize.

Meanwhile, 25 winners were picked for the “myPTPTN Klik klik Je!” campaign which is currently running in conjunction with the PTPTN 25th Silver Jubilee celebration.

The campaign started on March 29 and will end on June 15 to encourage PTPTN customers to utilise its mobile applications and stand a chance to win the prizes worth RM250,000 before the expiration date.

The winners were picked for performing the requirements on the myPTPTN mobile application such as downloading it, performing identity verification, making PTPTN loan repayment, adding deposit into SSPN Simpan, and applying for salary deduction or direct debit application.

PTPTN chairman Datuk Wan Saiful Wan Jan (fourth from left) congratulated the winners and hoped that they would put the prizes to good use for their families and children’s future.

“With this success, we hope to instil enthusiasm and inspiration in people to continue saving with our products and services,” he said.

According to Wan Saiful, Simpan SSPN has managed to maintain its excellent portfolio since 2018.

As of April 30, the total amount of Simpan SSPN deposits accumulated is RM12.05 billion.

“I have also been emphasising on cultivating the habit of saving among the community since I first became the chairman of PTPTN.

“I am happy that my vision was successfully translated through the collection of Simpan SSPN deposits for four years in a row and has recorded a very significant increase,” he said after handing the prizes to the winners at the ceremony.

The “Mesra Bersama Pelanggan” event was held to appreciate PTPTN customers which include ministries, government and private agencies, strategic partners, depositors as well media partners.
