THE Pakatan Harapan (PH) presidential council is urging Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob to convene a special parliamentary session as soon as possible to discuss the Anti-Party Hopping Bill.
“Prior to this, he had several times expressed commitment to discuss the Bill, so the promise must be fulfilled.
“Apart from the Bill, the special session should also discuss the problems faced by the people at this time, including the cost of living and inflation,” it said in a statement today.
PH also noted that another topic worth discussing for the special session includes the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s revelation that several purchases for the country’s health services sector during the pandemic were plagued with corruption.
