MCLAREN Automotive has unveiled its next-generation supercar, the all-new McLaren Artura, at its Kuala Lumpur showroom.
McLaren’s first series-production high-performance hybrid (HPH) supercar focuses more than half a century of the company’s racing, and road-car experience and expertise into a next-generation supercar that blends ground-breaking technology with McLaren’s dedication to pure driver engagement with electric vehicle (EV) driving capability.
McLaren Asia Pacific and China MD Paul Haris stated that the next-generation McLaren is the distillation of more than half a century of McLaren’s racing, and road car expertise and experience, playing a major role in their vision for the future.
“Opportunity also lies in creating high-performance supercars for the future. McLaren Artura offers a bold vision for what this will look like.
“As a high-performance hybrid, it blends thrilling performance, driving dynamics and engagement with EV driving capability. There is much opportunity for growth, and we look forward to sharing further news on this in the year ahead,” Haris stated.
McLaren Artura is the first model to be built on all-new McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture, uniquely optimised for HPH powertrains and built in-house at the McLaren Composites Technology Centre.
The McLaren Artura sells at a starting price of RM1.05 million before tax but is accessible with a wide variety of personalisation possibilities and options.
The new McLaren Artura now offers a chance for owning a supercar that gives a driver’s experience that resonates with that of a hypercar with a five-year vehicle warranty, a six-year battery warranty and a 10-year body warranty.
