Mesiniaga wins Telekom’s data centre contract

MESINIAGA Bhd have secured a data centre contract worth RM59.6 million from Telekom Malaysia Bhd.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia, the company said it will design, supply, deliver, install, test, commission, integrate, train, provide professional services, and maintenance and support services of Telco Cloud Core Data Centre.

The contract performance period is from April 1, 2022, to Nov 16, 2024.

There is no automatic renewal clause in the contract.

The contract will not affect the share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings of the company, however, it is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2022, onwards until the expiry of the contract.
