Covid-19: Malaysia records 32,070 new cases

MALAYSIA records the highest number of new cases at 32,070 on Thursday, surpassing the previous number of 31,199 on Wednesday.

This brings the total number of Covid infections in the country to 3,33,7227.

Selangor detected the highest number of new cases with 7,458 while Putrajaya the lowest with 120.

There are now 286,521 active Covid cases nationwide.

Ten states reported more than 1,000 cases, according to Covid Now data.

Up to 46 new deaths were also reported – 17 involved brought in dead cases – pushing the country’s total deaths to 32,534.

A total of 23,332 recoveries were also detected, bringing the cumulative recoveries to 3,018,172. –TMR
