BANK Islam Malaysia Bhd (BIMB) inks a memorandum of understanding (MoU) and strategic collaboration with three professional associations in the country to provide a complete suite of Syariah-compliant financial solutions to its members.

The professional associations involved are Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia, the Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety & Health and the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

BIMB Group CEO Mohd Muazzam Mohamed (picture) said BIMB strongly believes that each of us plays a crucial role in supporting sustainable recovery and bridging the economic gap brought about by the pandemic.

“We aim to provide the necessary support for 44,500 registered members across all associations through greater access to our financial solutions through this collaboration. The collaboration is also another form of support by Bank Islam towards the country’s economic recovery.

“Through this partnership, BIMB will provide an all-encompassing financial solution that meets the various needs of each member. The facility made available includes BIMB’s Personal Financing-i, which offers a maximum of RM300,000 financing for up to 10 years at a competitive rate, deposit products and wealth and cash management,” he said in his speech today.
